NORCAL Membership

 

Who is eligible for NORCAL membership?
Any city or Sister City organization in Northern California that is a dues-paying member of Sister Cities International (SCI), may become a NORCAL member.

What is the difference between NORCAL and SOCAL?
Both NORCAL and SOCAL (Southern California Chapter) represent Sister Cities International. Generally speaking, individuals and organizations in cities north of and including Monterey, Fresno, and Mono counties can become members of NORCAL. Individuals and organizations in cities south of and including San Luis Obispo, Kern, Kings, Tulare and Inyo counties can become members of SOCAL.

Are there any membership dues?
No.

How do I become a member?

When does the NORCAL Board meet?
The NORCAL Board meets not less than three times annually. These meetings are held in selected cities throughout Northern California. One of those meetings is held immediately following the Annual NORCAL Conference. The Annual Conference is normally held in March, although that can vary.
