Sister Cities Northern California

Sister Cities Northern California is part of Sister Cities California and Sister Cities International. Due to the number of Cities statewide participating in the Sister Cites program the Board of Directors elected to separate the state into Northern and Southern California regions. Each region has its own Board composed of representatives from its participating NORCAL Cities.

NORCAL Sister Cities currently has over 70 City members and SOCAL has similar membership numbers. Although we function as separate organizations we maintain an open relationship and SOCAL Board members are invited and our welcome at our meetings as we are at theirs.

NORCAL Sister Cities's Board of Directors meets not less than three times annually. These meetings are held in selected cities throughout Northern California. One of those meetings is held immediately following the Annual NORCAL Conference. The Annual Conference is normally held in October, although this can vary.
